Hi there, new to this site. Finally got round to registering after a really busy couple of months. Basically got into BMX in the early 80's after the ET craze, but didn't really get into it properly until 1985. Started competing in the UKBFA comps in about 1987 and did the competition scene until about 90/91. After that all died down, I just rode for fun and a bit of street for a couple of years. After about 15 years out, I decided to get back into it. Got myself a new school bike and felt gutted that I had ever given up. I have been selling new school bits and pieces online for the last few years for a bit of pocket money. With work drying up and wages being slashed, I decided to open a BMX only shop and try and do this full time. I am based in Kent, so if any of you are in the area, please feel free to pop in and say hello and have a chat about the good old days. My address is Grind BMX, 4 Manse Parade, London Road, Swanley, Kent, BR8 8DA. The shop is less than a minute from the M25 Junction 3 with lots of free parking outside. Or if you're not close enough, then check out my website and www.grindbmx.co.ukI will occasionally post some bits in the for sale section here, so keep your eyes peeled. I know most people on here will predominantly only be into the old school scene, but if you fancy giving new school a bash, give me a shout.
