Hey, got a youngn joining the site! Im 24 and my name is Aaron and i recently pulled a vintage mongoose out of a dumpster 
After some research 
i found its a '78 motomag! its got the original everything right down to the tires and grips (two things ill be removing to keep nice) I plan on pulling it apart, sandblasting rust(minimal), and re nickel plating it. I will also be sandblasting the bars,fork, and stem
and powdercoating them black. from there ill get grips i can ride round with, and some dirt and street tires that will be more suited to where i live. though ive found bmx products does sell decals, i need to source some reflectors (all 4) and padset witch must be color correct for a nickel plated bicycle. I will go into more detail in another thread when i get some pics of this beauty witch is gonna be my round town gas saver!
