Well done to all involved in this site. Fair play to ya! No doubt it will take time to get going but if you keep it BMX it will roll along nicely. Its well presented, easy to browse and the content looks smart. BUT KEEP IT BMX!!!!!!!! I was overwhelmed with joy when I heard that this site was happening. I would love to have seen the face on Bully Stupple when he found out! For me Rad self destructed which was a drastic shame as I met some great people on there. You boys know where it went wrong so you are better prepared. Dont get greedy and do not rule the site as the Bully does over there. I think that if you treat everyone as equal no matter what they have done in the past, their knowledge of old school or wether they have a Rayleigh collection or a cluster of Hutch bikes - you wont go wrong! I wasnt able to log onto Rad after I left so I left the collecting alone. Without the fun of sharing your hobby with others it took the sparkle out of it for me. I bought bits and pieces over the last year but now I have nothing apart from a Piranha without the big heavy mags! ;D I wont be collecting anymore but I still get the horn when I see a nice build. It never leaves ya!!! Cheers lads, Im chuffed for Rewind (Cool name). Nick

hi nick,
it would now take you several years to collect what you had collected in 2 years, as not much of the good stuff comes up regularly, but you gotta do one, just to keep you interested... i'm doing a couple of 'low' enders at the mo', just for a change... and because i like em'....

This site is very much positive about Rad, and the way in which it has grown as a major player in the BMX hobby. This stance will not change. Rad is the biggest UK site and richly deserves that title, for all the hard work, blood, sweat and tears of the admin and mods.
If you have personal gripes, please contact each other personally to discuss this. The rest of the site, I am sure, wont be interested in seeing personal squabbles play out. BMXrewind will in no way condone or side with any person(s) or arguments meant to stoke fires between the sites.
With all respect to all parties concerned - this isnt meant to be pointed at anyone specifically.

Good call Neil, for you guys please read this, its number 6 in the rules page 6. This site is not a replacement for any other site, it is what it is so please leave any stories of other sites at the door, none of us want bad feeling between the bmx community so enjoy this site for what it is.Its for the benefit of everyone you adhere to this rule, Os bmx is good were ever you get your kicks

Here we go again.......another 10 pager no doubt!! Never had beef with you either Dave and I dont intend to. However, you refer to it as your site but if you ask me I think Billy thinks he is the guvnor of Rad. He seems to be the bloke who bans everyone if he doesnt agree with what is being said. You just get on with it Dave and says it like it is. Thats why we never came into contact. Also, when I mean greedy Dave I mean site supporter antics and having to pay Billy in order to help people out, with things like polishing etc. Where's the love of bmx in that!!! Nick Gashead - 'my beef' if you really want to know, is that people were all too pleased to charge me £250 for NOS MX1000's when they cost them £40 2 years previous but when I want to sell them 1 year later for £200 (£50 loss) I am seen as 'greedy' by mugs like JTRacing, JJ and ScaryLeary. (I kind of sorted it out with JJ and i hold no grudges now. Alot of the respected members alway say he is a good bloke). Everything I sold which was bought from Rad members was at a loss as 'loved' members conned the fook out of me. I never moaned once but I will now. BMX community! Thats my problem. I didnt intend this thread to cause an upset with the 'rad massive' (dont you have your own site within a site to be posting on? -lol). Rad 'self destructed' when they set up the secret lounge. That was what I was refering to. Only my opinion. If that never occured then I doubt this site would have been set up. As long as this site stays like it is, then it will become just as popular with the newbies as Rad is. Lets face it, I checked out Rad recently and it seems stagnant since the experienced collectors went off and did there own thing. Nuff said. Please do not stop this thread. I hated that side of things on Rad. Thats 'Bully' boy antics. Nick

I aint gonna stop anything Nick, but i ask you to read rule 6 mate, the one thing this site does not want to become is a Rad knocking shop for disgruntled old members. You have more to offer than bitching about Rad Nick, you know this and i do. As it says in the 6th rule, this site is not here to replace any other, its here for you, me, and every other member who loves OS bmx, and what good does bad feeling do ? i was banned myself, but you know something, i didnt moan about anything, i just set this up with Matt and Si, so i can be actually positive about what happened. Build a bike, you know you want to, and for the newer members maybe a Nick special is what you need to show. By the way Ginge, have a look at Macmania's bikes, he is your natural successor

Me and another member on here were talking about it the morning it got bought Nick, i mean that would have been some buy that 24" T.A. And in my opinion it went cheap to, relativley anyway. He was a hour away from buying it, and he does regret it now. It would be interesting to see what you could make of a 24" Nick, real interesting

Nah me neither mate, i look back on my builds and some that at the time i thought were the cobblers i look at now and laugh. My biggest regret was not putting a straight seatpost on the Phaze one , but i peaked with the Patterson, and who knows in the future, i know if i do, do another £££ build it will be a 24", so i can ride it about and show it off ;D. You still see Donkeyballs much, he said he was coming to Manchester the big gay doyle ;D
